When Jesus died, immense grief came over the Blessed Virgin Mary and His faithful ones - John the disciple, Mary Magdalen, the Virgin mother’s sister Mary, who all stood at the foot of the cross. Jesus’ body was taken down from the cross and was prepared for burial. A representation of this dramatically moving scene is featured on this stained glass panel.
