Also known as Simon Peter or Cephas, St. Peter was the first pope and Prince of the Apostles. He was introduced to Jesus while working as a fisherman and went on to follow Jesus and undertook many ministries in his life. He is known by such symbols as the boat, the cock, and the inverted cross.
