Emblem of Saint James the Less Panel #13726
Saint James the Less was a relative and one of the twelve Apostles of Jesus. He witnessed the Resurrection of Christ and became the first Bishop of Jerusalem. The emblem of St. James, who is also called the "Minor," is highlighted in this arched stained glass design. It shows stones and the saw, which both refer to his death through martyrdom - by stoning and his body being sawn in two. This faceted glass artwork is a symbolic adornment on the faith of St. James for a church or house of worship.
A religious window like this would make a good addition to a house of worship or a hospital chapel.
