Saint Mark, the Evangelist Panel #13685
One of the four evangelists, Saint Mark is notable for his gospel writing in the New Testament. He is also said to be one of Christ's 70 disciples who preached with Saints Paul and Barnabas on various religious missions. St. Mark is depicted wearing a bright green robe with leafy prints in this artwork. He is also also shown writing on a scroll in reference to the book of Mark, which he authored. An arched frame with an exquisite pattern gives this stained glass piece a classic appeal. It is a fitting homage to the saint, who founded the Church of Alexandria and spread the good news far and wide.
A religious window like this would make a good addition to a house of worship or a hospital chapel.
