Serene St. Thomas Aquinas & St. Augustine Panel #13588
This unique stained glass design pays homage to two well revered saints - Thomas Aquinas and Augustine. Striking imagery and a mix of intricate patterns and colors make this piece an interesting addition to a Catholic church or chapel. St. Thomas Aquinas, who is one of the great teachers of the medieval Catholic Church, is depicted holding the last book he wrote, "Summa Theologiae," which deals with Catholic theology. The emblem of the monstrance, a receptable in which the Holy Eucharist is exposed for adoration, is pictured in the chest of St. Thomas Aquinas. On the other hand, St. Augustine, one of the four Latin fathers of the Catholic Church and the patron of brewers, is shown in bishop's robes and writing on a book. This stained glass panel is not only a bright accent, but also lets more natural light to shine into any space.
A religious window like this would make a good addition to a house of worship or a hospital chapel.
