St. Ambrose With Scroll and Quill Panel #12765
St. Ambrose reluctantly became the Bishop of Milan and proved himself to be a learned and zealous opponent of heresies which were dividing the church at the time. He had a great influence in the life of St. Augustine, pointing him in the right direction on his journey of faith. St. Ambrose is the Patron Saint of learning and beekeepers. He is pictured here holding a scroll and a writing quill with a beehive next to his right foot.
A religious window like this would make a good addition to a house of worship or a hospital chapel.
