She was the first child of Jean-Louise de Rodat who was the treasurer of France. She became an educator and devoted herself to educating poor girls. She was beatified on the 9th of June 1940 and canonized on April 23rd 1950 by Pope Pious XII. The congregation of the holy family today has operations in all continents. The window features the nun Saint Emily reading a book and standing before a green background.
