St. Rita in Purple Panel #3932

This gorgeous stained glass panel shows St. Rita of Cascia who was an Italian Augustinian nun who was saint venerated by the Roman Catholic Church. After her violent husband was murdered by a family member, she joined the Augustinian sisterhood and was known to have performed many miracles and has often been seen with a bleeding wound that has been called a partial stigmata. She is the patron saint of abused women and those women who have lost their husbands. This is a wonderful addition to a church, chapel, convent or home.

A religious window like this would make a good addition to a house of worship or a hospital chapel.
